OAKLAND — Costumes on Parade will begin at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at Williams Elementary School. Participants will stroll through town dressed in their Haunted attire.
Main Street Businesses will have surprises along the way. The parade will continue to Atwood School where the annual trick or trunk event is planned until 7 p.m.
The third annual event is sponsored by the Oakland Police Department.
All residents with children and grandchildren are encouraged to participate in this alternative door to door trick or treating event. Last year more than 500 children participated.
Also, area groups, businesses and social clubs are encouraged to take part in the trick or trunk event. For more information, call Kathy Paradis at the Oakland Town Office at 465-7357.
