NORTH BERWICK — Police say a man was killed when his car crashed into a tree in North Berwick.
It happened around 10:24 p.m. Thursday on State Route 4, at Elm Street and Cahoon Lane, according to York County Sheriff William King. The road was shut down for several hours while police investigated the crash. It has since reopened.
The victim wasn’t immediately identified.
Authorities are investigating but say they don’t believe alcohol was a factor.
