CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Maine’s Sugarloaf is going to host the nation’s top skiers in 2017.
The ski resort will be the backdrop for the U.S. Alpine Championships in late March. It’ll be the sixth time Sugarloaf has hosted the event.
The event is a major ski development tool, pitting top skiers from regional teams around the U.S. against U.S ski team veterans.
Sugarloaf will host the newly instated U19 and U21 Junior National Championships immediately after the U.S. Championships.
