I am writing to endorse Joe Pietroski’s candidacy for Maine Senate District 14. Joe is running as an independent, which to me seems very appropriate for him as he is a very independent thinker. I have served with Joe for 5½ of his nine years of service on the Winthrop board of education. As an independent thinker, he often brings to the table original solutions to educational situations that take into consideration the concerns of all folks involved and contribute to the crafting of the best outcome possible for all concerned. He energetically attends many public activities actively seeking the opinions and concerns of others.
With his good communications skills, his thoughtful and creative approach to decision making and his genuine concern for a better Maine for all constituents, if elected, Joe will skillfully represent the people of Senate District 14.
