AUGUSTA — Spectrum Generations will offer the Living Well with Chronic Pain six-week workshop series from 9 to 11:30 a.m. beginning Wednesdays, Nov. 16 through Dec. 21, at the Muskie Community Center, 38 Gold St., Waterville.
Through this proven program, developed by Stanford University, participants have reported less pain, more energy and fewer hospitalizations. The series will be led by trained community members, many of whom have chronic diseases themselves, who will give participants the tools and tips needed to manage chronic conditions, live a healthier life, and to take back control. Classes are highly participative, where mutual support and success build the participants’ confidence in their ability to manage their health and maintain active and fulfilling lives.
To register for this class or for more information, call Lyn Neiz at Spectrum Generations at 622-9212 or [email protected].
