I have Lyme disease. The only state Senate candidate running in District 14 who is addressing the growing tick and Lyme disease crisis is Joe Pietroski, the independent candidate.
Joe has made addressing the tick problem that has invaded our backyards, affected where our pets and their owners can go safely, is decimating our moose population, and is affecting decisions by tourists as to where in Maine is safe from ticks.
Lyme disease, spread by ticks, needs immediate attention by the state of Maine as a serious crisis. Those of you affected by Lyme disease already know this. Joe understands how personally devastating Lyme disease is. We need Joe in the Maine Senate to lead the effort to develop a statewide response to ticks and Lyme disease.
