I support Colleen Madigan for the State House because of her stands on issues that matter. Making education available and affordable is essential, and she advocates strongly for that. Also, creating jobs that keep young people in Maine seems urgent. Maine is already one of the oldest state in the U.S. We need to find a way to keep our vibrant young people close to home, contributing to our state and able to stay connected to their families.

Stressing treatment rather than jail time for drug issues also makes sense: our jails are overcrowded, and we want to see people rebuilding their lives rather than living behind bars.

Colleen’s social work background keeps her close to the needs and wants of people she represents. She’s already served us well once, in the Senate. She would do an outstanding job filling the “big shoes” of Henry Beck in the House.
