Governing after elections has not gotten easier given the polarized political climate that we face during the campaign season. It takes special skill and temperament to overcome this divisiveness and craft solutions that work for all Mainers. Shenna Bellows has both — and a strong track record of forging such solutions on key issues central to every citizen’s civil rights.
She is smart and has a thorough understanding of the challenges we face from rising property taxes and education funding to health care and conserving our natural resources for future generations. Shenna listens well, works diligently to bring people together, and finds common ground to make policy work the way it should.
I am confident these skills will serve the people of District 14 well, and she will be an excellent addition to the state Senate for every Mainer.
