Being a county commissioner doesn’t require a Ph.D., but a commissioner with 10 years of prior work experience dealing with the major issues facing Maine counties is a real asset to Kennebec County, and to the people who live here.

Patsy Crockett brings a decade of work experience with issues like county jail needs, labor-management relations with county workers, coordinating the efforts of the sheriff’s office with state and federal drug enforcement officers to turn the corner on the heroin epidemic, and balancing budgets and needs. We need her expertise on the Kennebec County commissioners board. Let’s keep her there.
