Ann Dorney is a candidate for State representative for Norridgewock, Madison, and Solon in Somerset County. I know Ann well. We worked together for five years on teen pregnancy prevention. As a family doctor and a former state representative, I know her to be a caring, educated, dedicated advocate for goals such as fair and compassionate social services, good health care for all, living-wage jobs, and responsible stewardship of the environment.
She has been active as a citizen and doctor on opiate addiction, which she sees often in her practice. She has advocated for renewable energy projects that provide jobs. And she really listens to her constituents, holding open “office hours” at locations in each of the towns she served when she was state representative.
