I know first-hand Jeff McCabe’s passion for the outdoors as a Maine Guide. Jeff always steps up to get the job done. Jeff has worked for me for 15 years and has always been there for me as an employee: guiding, bartending, cooking, dishwashing or doing just about anything I need. As a state representative he’s also been there, fighting for me and other outfitters to make doing business in Maine easier. As a business owner I know I have a voice in Augusta when I call Jeff.
I have seen Jeff become a leader in Augusta leading bipartisan efforts to save traditional jobs in Maine.
Whether it’s recreation, hunting, fishing, pulp and paper manufacturing, pellet production, or wood harvesting, Jeff is taking a hard look at the natural resource economy in Maine and making sure we take an all hands on deck approach to encourage the industry’s long-term health.
