The Kennebec County Soil & Water Conservation District has announces its election for district supervisor. There is one elected position in this year’s election. That position starts Jan. 1, 2017, and is a three-year term of office. Gary Wheeler, of Augusta, is running to fill that position.
Write-in candidates continue to be eligible. Ballots are available at the Kennebec District office.
Registered voters can contact the district to receive a ballot or cast a ballot at the office. Completed ballots must be received by 4 p.m. Nov. 25.
