HALLOWELL — Harlow Gallery invites Maine’s fine artists and craftsmen to participate in “One-of-a-Kind,” a fundraiser exhibition of high quality, locally made fine art and craft, on view Dec. 7-17 at 160 Water St.
Non-member artists and artisans may each submit one work of art of their choice, while current members of the Harlow Gallery may submit two works of art. All sales will be split 50/50 with the gallery; proceeds from this fundraiser will support programming at the gallery in 2017.
Each piece in the show must be completely one of a kind, original, and hand-made. All fine craft media are eligible, including but not limited to sculpture, ceramics, textiles, fiberart, woodworking, metal and glass.
Acceptable fine art media includes but is not limited to painting, encaustic, monotype and drawing. All work must be 100 percent original; no giclees, reproductions or mass produced elements. Wall-hung pieces may not exceed 11-inches by 14-inches (or 154 square inches, including frame), three-dimensional pieces just need to fit through the door (already assembled).
