AUGUSTA — The Mary A. Johnson Foundation for Suicide Prevention was recently launched by Timothy A. Johnson, volunteer director.

The foundation’s mission is to help reduce the national and local suicide rate through: fundraising and contributions to national and local “like-minded” agencies, educational programming in local institutions (jails, schools, hospitals, etc.), awareness, and advocacy at the local government level.

The foundation is in the midst of it’s initial capitalization campaign, and information may be obtained and donations made online at www.majffsp.com.

For more information, contact Johnson at 213-5042 or majffsp@gmail.com.
