The anticipated arrival of a winter storm Saturday resulted in several high school sports postponements over the weekend, including the annual Tiger Invitational wrestling match.

Gardiner athletic director Steve Ouellette said via Twitter that a makeup date has not been set.

Other postponements include:

• The Messalonskee-Brewer basketball games were postponed to Jan. 2. The boys will host the Witches while the girls will head north to Brewer. Furthermore, the Messalonskee hockey game against Houlton was postponed to Jan. 2 as well at the Camden National Bank Ice Vault.

• The Oak Hill-Monmouth girls and boys basketball games were also pushed to Jan. 2. The girls game will be played at 1:30 p.m. in Wales while the boys will tip off at 5:30 p.m. in Monmouth.

• The Hall-Dale/Wiscasset basketball games were moved to Dec. 22. The games will be at 5:30 p.m., with the boys at Hall-Dale and the girls at Wiscasset.

• The Nokomis-Waterville boys and girls basketball game were postponed to Dec. 27 at a time to be determined.

• The Mt. Blue-Lawrence basketball games were postponed. No makeup dates have been announced.

• The Winslow-Erskine basketball games were postponed to Dec. 28.

• The Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference indoor track and field meet was postponed to Wednesday at Colby.
