The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce set a goal of providing 250 holiday food baskets to families in need this holiday season. Local businesses and individuals the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce exceeded its goal and was able to provide 275 food baskets.

The boxes included a turkey with all the trimmings and dessert for a family and were prepared by four Chamber member grocers: Hannaford, Save-a-Lot, Tranten’s Market and Walmart. The food baskets were distributed at the chamber office to families who had completed applications and through the Franklin County food pantries.
