Augusta Bridge Club

AUGUSTA — Augusta duplicate bridge club winners for Wednesday, Dec. 21, were Rosemarie Goodwin and Jeanine Kivus placed first, Janet and Vern Arey placed second, Ron Cote and Paul Jones placed third, and Ed and Joyce Rushton placed fourth. Winners on Thursday, Dec. 22, were Sharron Hinckley and Fred Letourneau placed first, Janet Arey and John Anastasio placed second, Ken Harvey and David Offer tied with Nancy Fritz and Stefanie Barley for third place.

The club meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Granite Hill Estates, 60 Balsam Drive, Hallowell, and 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at Kennebec Plaza, 20 Willow St., Augusta. All are welcome; a partner is guaranteed. For more information, call Janet Arey at 933-4984.

Fairfield Bridge Club

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Tuesday were David Bourque and Suzon Morrison placed first, Paul and Judy Jones placed second, Diane Bishop and Lorrie Letourneau placed third, and Rona Backstrom and Linda Atkinson placed fourth.

HALLOWELL — Spectrum Generations William S. Cohen Community Center, announced its recent bridge and cribbage winners.

Game day bridge winners on Wednesday, Dec. 21, were Glenna Morin placed first, Dotti Prescott placed second and Joan McClay placed third.
