AUGUSTA — Sydney Royce and Natasha Haley each scored 14 points to spark Rangeley to a 46-32 win over Forest Hills in an East/West Conference girls basketball game at the Capital City Hoops Classic on Tuesday.
Celia Philbrook added nine points for Rangeley (3-1).
Caitlin Logston scored 12 points to pace the Tigers (2-3) and Patricia Lessard chipped in 10.
BOYS BASKETBALL
WINSLOW 44, ERSKINE 34: The Black Raiders scored 13 points in the fourth quarter while holding the Eagles to three to earn the win in South China.
Spencer Miranda finished with 14 points for Winslow (5-0) while Dylan Hutchinson had eight.
Erskine (2-3) was led by Noah Bonsant with 10 points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks and Jack Jowett with 11 points.
OXFORD HILLS 67, MT. BLUE 37: Chris St. Pierre scored a game-high 28 points, including six 3-pointers, to lift the Vikings to the win at the Capital City Hoops Classic in Augusta.
Matthew Fleming added 16 points for Oxford Hills (4-3).
Cooper Hollingsworth led Mt. Blue (1-4) with 11 points.
FOREST HILLS 73, RANGELEY 49: Dalton Gregoire had 20 points, 11 rebounds and six assists to pace the Tigers to the East/West Conference win at the Capital City Hoops Classic in Augusta.
Javier Padilla added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Forest Hills (2-3) while Jacob Rivas and Hunter Cuddy had 10 points apiece.
Rangeley (0-4) was led by Carl Trafton with 18 points and Kyle Larochelle with 13.
BOOTHBAY 57, MT. ABRAM 39: Carter Babcock scored 14 points to pace the Seahawks to the Mountain Valley Conference win at the Capital City Hoops Classic in Augusta.
Kyle Ames and Jacob Leonard each added 11 points for Boothbay (3-3).
Dan Luce scored 18 points for the Roadrunners (0-6) and Nate Luce chipped in seven.
WINTHROP 72, TELSTAR 59: Garrett Tsouprake had 23 points, 11 rebounds and three steals to lead the host Ramblers to the MVC win.
Jacob Hickey added 24 points for Winthrop (5-0) while Andrew Pazdzrioko chipped in with six steals and nine rebounds.
Telstar (1-5) was led by Jarrett Bean with 17 points.
