FARMINGDALE — Hall-Dale High School’s Delta Prime Robotics Team will host its annual Italian dinner and silent auction at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, in the cafeteria at Hall-Dale High School, 97 Maple St.

Tickets purchased in advance cost $10 for adults or $5 for children younger than 10, or $12 and $6 at the door.

Dinner will include spaghetti, with a few other menu choices, salad bar and dessert. Along with the silent auction, there is a 50/50 raffle, all supporting local robotics team.

The 2017 season will kick off Jan. 7 for teams participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition worldwide. Delta Prime Robotics Team will show the official video from FIRST Robotics in the high school theater, announcing this year’s competitive game.

As of Jan. 7, teams will have six weeks to design and build a robot player for the game before competitions begin.
