Spectrum Generations will offer Living Well for Better Health workshops that have been specifically developed to help people learn to take charge of their health care challenges and improve their quality of life.

Based on the Stanford University Chronic Disease Self-Management program, the workshops can help individuals create a more positive outlook, feel better, be in control of their health and do things they want to do.

• Living Well for Better Health (anyone looking to control and maintain their health) runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 17 through Feb. 21, at Winslow Town Office, 114 Benton Ave., Winslow;
