SKOWHEGAN — A series of free craft projects will be presented by the GFWC Skowhegan Woman’s Club on the second and fourth Thursdays of January, February and March.

Classes will be held from 10 a.m.-noon at the Skowhegan Free Public Library, Elm Street, and materials will be provided at no charge.

Following is the schedule of projects:

Jan. 12: Card Embroidery

Jan. 26: Making Vintage Valentine Cards

Feb. 9: Jewelry Basics

Feb. 23: Stained Glass Sailboats

March 9: Water Color Basics

March 23: Crocheting Basics

All projects are designed to be completed in one two-hour session, and will be presented by the club’s craft chairman, Billie Sherman, and her committee.

Pre-registration for each class is suggested to ensure supply of adequate materials by calling the library at 474 9072.
