A Winslow man was arrested on drug charges last week by Maine State Police following a traffic stop.
Zachary Ricker, 23, was issued criminal summonses on Dec. 26 for unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and violating conditions of release.
The incident happened when a state police trooper stopped a truck on Main Street in Fairfield because its tires appeared to exceed its wheel wells, according to an agency press release. The driver, Ricker, was found by police to be on bail conditions not to use or possess drugs.
Ricker had a medical marijuana card but it does not cover the possession of hash oil, a schedule X drug. Police said Ricker was in possession of about 13 grams of hash oil, some of which he had admittedly made himself.
