WINSLOW — Spencer Miranda’s 15 points led the Winslow boys basketball team to a 63-53 overtime win over Lawrence in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference game Tuesday night.

Dylan Hutchinson had a double-double for the Black Raiders (7-0), scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Jack Morneault added 12 points.

Mason Cooper led the Bulldogs (2-7) with 19 points. Brandon Hill chipped in with 12.

ERSKINE 43, WATERVILLE 38: Noah Bonsant hauled in 11 rebounds to go along with eight blocks and three points to spark the Eagles in South China.

Jack Jowett led the offense with 17 points for Erskine (6-4).

David Barre scored 11 points for Waterville (0-10) while Ethan Cayer added eight.

SKOWHEGAN 65, BREWER 59: Garrett McSweeney led five players in double figures with 18 points to lift the host Indians.

Marcus Christopher added 14 points while Cole Pierce and Brendan Curran each had 11 for Skowhegan (4-4). Cam Barnes chipped in 10 points, as well.

Cam Wood scored 18 points to lead Brewer (3-7).

CARRABEC 67, DIRIGO 60: Evan Holzworth scored 25 points to lead the Cobras in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Dixfield.

Alex Stafford had a double-double for Carrabec (2-7), scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Dustin Crawford added 12 points.

Carrabec was 20 of 25 from the free-throw line.

Cooper Chiasson led Dirigo (1-8) with 16 points.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 56, MT. BLUE 48: Mason Shink scored 15 points, including seven of eight free throws down the stretch, as the Phoenix won a KVAC A game in Jay.

Cooper Hollingsworth had 12 points and nine rebounds for Mt. Blue (1-8), while Caleb Hall added 10 points for the Cougars.

Caulin Parker finished with 11 points for Spruce Mountain (8-1).

BOYS HOCKEY

WATERVILLE 11, JOHN BAPST 1: Cooper Hart and Jackson Aldrich each recorded a hat trick as the Purple Panthers won for the seventh straight time to open the season at Colby College.

Waterville (7-0-0) also got a pair of goals from Andrew Roderigue. Cody Pellerin, Justin Wentworth and Zach Smith also scored in the win. Nathan Pinnette made eight saves in goal.

Cam Dyer scored the lone goal for John Bapst (1-7-0).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

RICHMOND 31, VALLEY 23: Sydney Tilton had 11 points and 10 rebounds to spark the Bobcats to the East/West Conference win in Bingham.

Mackenzie Abbott added 11 points for Richmond (8-0).

Kendra Sweet scored eight points to lead Valley (1-8).

DIRIGO 33, CARRABEC 19: Mackenzie Baker scored eight points but the Cobras fell in an MVC game in North Anson.

Bailey Dunphy added seven points for Carrabec (2-7).

Olivia Noyes led Dirigo (3-6) with 10 points.

MCI 43, OCEANSIDE 40: The Huskies overcame a seven-point halftime deficit to earn the KVAC win in Pittsfield.

Oceanside (4-4) led 24-17 at the break, before MCI (6-3) rallied. Christa Carr, April McAlpine and Dee Urena each scored 10 points to lead the Huskies. Gabby Simmons led the Mariners with 17 points.

MADISON 68, WINTHROP 35: Sydney LeBlanc scored a game-high 30 points to lead the Bulldogs to an MVC win in Madison.

Lauren Hay scored 12 points, while Ashley Emery added 10 points and five assists for Madison (7-2).

Kena Souza led Winthrop (3-4) with eight points.
