OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Zach Small scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the unbeaten Richmond boys basketball team to a 64-33 win over Old Orchard Beach on Thursday night.
Small also dished out six assists for the Bobcats (11-0), who also got 15 points and six steals from Cody Tribbet and 13 points from Matt Holt.
Tyler Brafier scored 11 points for Old Orchard (5-6).
HALL-DALE 89, MONMOUTH 30: Alec Byron and Jett Boyer scored 17 points apiece, leading four Bulldogs in double figures, as Hall-Dale cruised to the MVC win in Farmingdale.
John Whitcomb added 11 points and 11 rebounds for Hall-Dale (10-3). Anthony Romano scored 10.
Hunter Richardson led Monmouth (3-10) with 12.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
RICHMOND 45, OOB 30: Sydney Tilton scored a game-high 23 points and Caitlin Kendrick added eight as the Bobcats cruised to the Class C South victory in Old Orchard Beach.
Tilton also had 18 rebounds while Meranda Martin had five rebounds and four points for Richmond (11-0).
MONMOUTH 55, HALL-DALE 22: The Mustangs held the Bulldogs to just six points in the first half en route to the MVC win in Farmingdale.
Tia Day led Monmouth (11-2) with 12 points, while Hannah Anderson and Abby Allen added nine and eight, respectively.
Sabrina Freeman scored eight points for Hall-Dale (0-14).
