BURLINGTON, Vt. — Eleven local students have been named to the 2016 fall semester dean’s list at the University of Vermont.

They include: Devin Beckim and Melissa Petersen, both of Augusta, Maine; Nicole Pires, of Farmington, Maine; Jacob Ide, Calen Mendall, Natalie Palmer and Tobias Smith, all of Manchester, Maine; Kayla Christopher, of Oakland, Maine; Delaney Curran, of Skowhegan, Maine; Bronwyn Caswell-Riday, of Topsham, Maine; and Ryan Lutrzykowski, of Winthrop, Maine.

To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
