HAMPDEN — Gabrielle Wener had 21 points — including five 3-pointers — to go along with eight rebounds as the Messalonskee girls basketball team sank Hampden 56-41 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Friday night.

Sophie Holmes finished with 16 points, seven rebounds and six steals for the Eagles (11-0) as well.

McKenna Brodeur scored eight points and had four steals for Messalonskee, which led just 25-20 at the half.

Bailey Donovan scored 18 points to lead Hampden (8-4).

FOREST HILLS 57, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 33: Caitlin Logston tallied 29 points to lead Forest Hills in an East/West matchup Friday night.

Patricia Lessard added 15 points for the Tigers (7-6).

Kelsi Upham led the Knights (2-12) with 10 points.

LINCOLN 49, WINSLOW 39: Weslee Littlefield scored seven points but the Black Raiders fell to the Eagles in Winslow.

Ciara LeClair scored six points, grabbed seven rebounds and had six assists, while Paige Trask kicked in with six points for Winslow (9-2).

Kaitlyn Feltis led Lincoln (8-4) with 15 points.

TEMPLE 51, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 11: Kiara Carr scored 15 points to lead the Bereans to an East/West win over the Lions in Waterville.

Veronica Rossignol scored 10 points, while Deleyni Carr added eight points for Temple (9-2).

Megan Smith scored three points for Portland Christian (2-8).

WATERVILLE 51, OCEANSIDE 45: Mackenzie St. Pierre scored 14 points to lead the Purple Panthers in Rockport.

Jordan Jabar added 10 points for Waterville (8-4).

Gabby Simmons led Oceanside (4-6) with 14 points.

FOREST HILLS 66, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 18: Eighth-grader Parker Desjardins scored 17 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead the Tigers to the Class D win in Jackman.

Freshman Hunter Cuddy added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Forest Hills, which won its sixth game in a row to improve to 9-5. Kenn Vito-Cruz chipped in 10 points as well.

Highview Christian (1-11) was led by TJ Sheldon with 12 points.

TEMPLE 52, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 34: Brad Smith scored 25 points and Joe Xu added 13 as the Bereans (8-4) rolled to the D South victory in Waterville.

Ethan Spaulding scored 13 points to lead Greater Portland Christian (1-10).

LINCOLN 72, WINSLOW 61: Cody Tozier scored 29 points, including 16 from the free throw line, to lead the Eagles to the KVAC B win in Newscastle.

Keyden Leeman added 24 points for Lincoln (5-7).

Spencer Miranda scored 26 points to lead Winslow (8-3) while Keanu Earle chipped in 14 and Mike Wildes 10.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 60, ERSKINE 47: Cameron Allaire scored a game-high 27 points to lift the Panthers to the KVAC A win in South China.

Kyle Donlan added 12 points for Medomak (12-0).

Erskine (6-6) was led by Jack Jowett with 13 points and Braden Soule with nine.

VALLEY 76, RANGELEY 30: Austin Cates scored 17 points to lead the Cavaliers to an East/West victory in Bingham.

Nathan Ames scored 15 points, while Keegan Farnham and Brandon Thomas each added seven points for Valley (9-3).

Kyle Larochelle led Rangeley (3-9) with 15 points.

CONY 71, MT. BLUE 54: Nate Parlin led the Rams with 16 points in a KVAC A win over the Cougars in Augusta.

Austin Parlin and Jordan Roddy each scored 12 points, while Taylor Heath added 11 points for Cony (5-7).

Garrett Reynolds led Mt. Blue (1-11) with 17 points.
