Almost daily I read in the paper articles on the growing problems of drugs in our state. Whether it’s front-page news or death notices in the local section, it appears to be getting worse.

Now, as ridiculous as it seems, the recreational use of marijuana soon will be legal.

If we have a major drug problem now, this is a sure way to add to the problem. If you want to put out a fire, one doesn’t throw dry kindling on it.

The first time those folks who voted to legalize this drug have a child walk in the door with a bag of marijuana, will by the time they realize the mistake they’ve made.
