The Augusta NAMI Connection Recovery Support group will move from the offices of Crisis and Counseling to the Augusta Universalist Unitarian Community Church’s Drew House on 6 Summer St. in Augusta on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Meetings will continue to be from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. every Wednesday. The support groups are facilitated by NAMI-trained volunteers who are living in recovery from mental illness. The groups are solely for individuals living with mental illness.

There is a separate NAMI Augusta Family Support Group for family members and friends of those living with mental illness. The Family Group meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at the NAMI Maine office, 1 Bangor St, Augusta.

New members for both groups are welcome.
