WORCESTER, Mass. — Three local residents were among 1,424 students named to the 2016 fall semester dean’s list at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
They are: Ryanne Dailey, of Carthage, a senior majoring in chemical engineering; Peter Emidy, of Winthrop, a junior majoring in electrical and computer engineering; and Madison Michaud, of Vassalboro, a junior majoring in biomedical engineering.
The criteria for the WPI Dean’s List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade-point average. Instead, WPI defines the dean’s list by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
