“More than 100 turn out for march, rally in Augusta to support Trump” is a front-page headline on your Sunday, March 5 edition, along with three photographs and lengthy quotations from participants.
However, the “Resistance Summit” organized by the Maine People’s Alliance, which brought about 1,000 Mainers of all ages from every corner of our state to the Augusta Civic Center, and which ended with an address and an informative Q-and-A session by U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree, didn’t even merit mention in the next day’s paper. What possible justification can there be for that disparity?
