Students in the emergency services class at Mid-Maine Technical Center in Waterville visited Ground Zero and the 9/11 Museum in New York City last month.

The students visited the New Haven Fire Academy and West Haven Fire Department in Connecticut and met Tim Brown, a firefighter who responded to the Twin Towers on 9/11.

The class also visited the 9/11 Museum, 10 House, Freedom Tower and Rescue 1 in New York before heading to Times Square.

On the final day of the trip, they visited The Rock, a FDNY training facility, rode on the Staten Island Ferry and visited Rockefeller Center.
