Wyatt Maddocks, of Readfield, recently graduated from Army Basic Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

During that time he was introduced to the Army’s goals and mission. He was trained in military courtesy, hand grenade employment, nuclear, biological and chemical operations as well as rifle marksmanship.

He will now attend Advanced Individual Training to be trained as a fire support specialist. This will also be at Fort Sill.

He is the son of Jason and Nicole Maddocks, of Readfield.
