Three men were arrested Monday in an Augusta motel and charged with drug trafficking, according to a news release from the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Agents from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Augusta police seized 43 grams of heroin and 23 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $11,000 and $3,677 in cash.
Travis Moore, 41, of Augusta, Stephon Sullivan, 20, and Sammy Virella, 19, both of New York City, were charged with aggravated trafficking of a schedule W drug. They are currently in the Kennebec County jail.
Drug agents say the two men from New York have been alternating between two Augusta motels to sell the drugs over the past month.
