FARMINGTON — Active Parenting for Stepfamilies, a course designed to assist and support blending families will be offered from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays, July 10, 24 and 31, and Aug. 7, 14 and 21 at the Franklin County Children’s Task Force, 113 Church St.

This video-based program aims to help couples work together to raise children in an often challenging step-family environment. Couples can learn how to use powerful communication and negotiation skills to strengthen marriage and family. The program also is useful for foster parents, adoptive parents, single parents and others affected by loss and change.

The free program includes free snacks and onsite childcare. For more information, call 778-6960.
