A crash in Farmington late Sunday afternoon injured one man and damaged both vehicles, police said.

Mattheau Soha, 30, of Wilton, was walking his 1998 black Yamaha ATV on the sidewalk of Wilton Road and crossing the intersection with Oakes Street around 4:30 p.m. when he was struck by a car, Farmington Deputy Chief Shane Cote said.

Darcy Smith, 38, of Kingfield, was driving a 1999 green Saturn and allegedly failed to stop at the intersection, witnesses said. Smith told police she “stopped briefly” but failed to see the ATV.

Soha suffered a broken bone in his leg, Cote said, but it was unclear in the report which hospital he went to or if he was transported at all.

Both vehicles suffered minor front-end damage.

Cote said no charges are pending in the case.
