PALERMO — 2017 Summer Reading: Build A Better World! will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, July 6, at Palermo Community Library, 2789 Route 3. Registration is open for children age 2-5 and students in grades K-6. T-shirts will be provided for stenciling, and there will be samples of activities, crafts and books will be on display. The first 15 children to register will receive a voucher to a Sea Dogs Game.
Other event include Game night at 7 p.m. Friday, July 7. Games include cribbage, Monopoly, hand and foot, Scrabble and more.
Glass painting occurs is set for 6:30-8:30 p.m . Thursday, July 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Bring a glass object to paint; all materials are included.
