We have a handy recycling dumpster in Manchester that allows us to deposit recyclable materials here and cut back on household trash. A large number of residents enthusiastically participate.
I fear this program could potentially by in jeopardy if lazy, mindless people continue to vandalize the dumpster area by depositing piles of trask bags and all kinds of unacceptable items outside of the dumpster. I have seen TV sets, lawn furniture and cardboard packaging too long and bulky to fit through the dumpster openings. Others have to deal with this. Shape up, whoever you are, and show some respect for our town and its recycling program.
