LIVERMORE FALLS — A Wilton woman apparently entered a home last Friday where a 13-year-old girl was home alone, indicated she had a weapon, stole the girl’s flip flops and made the girl watch her use the bathroom.
Police Chief Ernest Steward, Jr. said Chrystal Rose, 36, was later arrested by the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office on unrelated charges. When the Wilton Police Department learned she had been arrested, they summonsed her on charges of violation of condition of release, visual sexual aggression and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. Steward said more charges may be pending.
Rose was released on Monday from the Kennebec County jail on unsecured bail. If she violates conditions of release, she will owe the county $1,000. A dispatcher from the jail’s intake department said Rose was initially arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release.
Steward said Rose is known in town and may have lived in the area where the girl lived. Steward said Rose was able to mention the names of the girl’s parents, which lead the girl to believe Rose was friends with her parents.
“The girl had no idea who she was,” Steward said. “She was kind of traumatized by the whole event.”
Steward said he was not sure why Rose went to the house. He said Rose made the girl go into the bathroom with her while Rose defecated, and then Rose made the girl flush the toilet for her.
“The girl was shook up,” he said.
