Augusta Bridge Club

AUGUSTA — Augusta duplicate bridge club winners for Wednesday were: north/south — Kathleen Burden and David Offer placed first, Janet Arey and Pete Snell placed second, and Rosemarie Goodwin and Leslie Lord placed third; east/west — Frank Shorey and Ron Cote placed first, Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman placed second, and Cynthia and William Clifford placed third. Winners on Thursday were Diane Bishop and Norma Blazer, Jerry Perkins and Janet Arey, and Les Buzzell and Anil Goswami.

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Tuesday were: north/south — Ed and Joyce Rushton placed first, Paul and Judy Jones placed second, Nora Lee Cox and Fank Gilbert placed third; east/west — Diane Bishop and David Bourque placed first, Willy Pouliot and Mary Alice Rancourt placed second, Barbara Terhune and Karen Torrey placed third.

HALLOWELL — Spectrum Generations William S. Cohen Community Center, announced its recent bridge and cribbage winners.

Game day bridge winners on Wednesday were: Ralph Boisvert placed first, Barbara Parish placed second and Fran Wadleigh placed third.

Thursday Bridge winners were: Kay O’Brien and Dorna Tracy tied for first and Bill Moore placed second.

WATERVILLE — The Waterville nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Thursday were: Barbara Terhune and Jeannie Reiling placed first, Betty Perry and Louie Violette placed second, Carolyn Langley and Joanne Rodrigue placed third, Dennis Perkins and Patricia Nutt placed fourth, Madeline Poulin and Lee Lenfest tied with Francis Roy and Mary Alice Rancourt for fifth.
