Firefighters from three communities were battling a structure fire Tuesday night on Lloyd Road in Anson.
The building was reported to be fully engulfed in flames about 6:30 p.m. Trucks and emergency crews from Anson, Madison and Starks were sent to the blaze, as were two units from the Anson/Madison Ambulance Service.
Anson firefighter Jeremy Manzer said by phone just after 7:30 p.m. that he was working on water supply to the tankers and was at a distance from the actual fire scene, but said he had no word of any injuries.
The building was evacuated successfully, according to a post on the Central Maine Facebook Fire Alert page.
Other details about the fire were not immediately available.
