WINSLOW — Matt Phillips had a hat track and the Winslow boys soccer team scored an 8-1 win over MCI in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference match on Thursday.

Kaleb Burbank and Isaac Lambrecth each added a pair of goals for the Black Raiders (1-0-0), while Jack Morneault also scored.

Devon Varney had the lone goal for MCI (1-1-0).

MOUNT VIEW 9, BELFAST 0: Noah Oathout and Darrett Fowler each scored three goals as the Mustangs rolled to the KVAC B win in Thorndike.

Elijah Allen added a pair of goals for Mount View (3-0-0), while Cassidy Pound also scored in the win.

Belfast (0-3-0) goalkeeper Brandon Cournoyer made 23 saves in the losing effort.

TEMPLE 9, ISLESBORO 2: Will Paradis had a hat track, one of three multi-goal scorers, and the Bereans opened their season with the Class D win in Waterville.

Micah Riportella and Gabe Shepherd each scored twice for Temple (1-0-0), while Noah Shepherd added a goal and four assists in the win. Julianna Hubbard also scored for the Bereans.

Islesboro dropped to 0-1-0.

ERSKINE 2, MORSE 1: Alex Cleaves and Travis Dow scored in the first half and the Eagles held on for the KVAC win in Bath.

David McGraw made two saves to preserve the win for Erskine (3-0-0).

Miles Bobbe made 13 saves for Morse (0-2-1).

WATERVILLE 2, LAWRENCE 2, 2OT: Jackson Dudley scored an unassisted goal with 1:48 remaining in the game to help the Bulldogs preserve a KVAC A tie at Thomas College in Waterville.

Adam Livshitz and Chris Williams each scored for Waterville (0-2-1). Kaden Works and Ben Danner each had assists.

Sam Craig scored on a penalty shot for Lawrence (0-1-1). Nick Reeves stopped 10 shots.

FIELD HOCKEY

WINSLOW 3, MCI 2, OT: Weslee Littlefield scored in the extra session as the Black Raiders remained unbeaten with the KVAC B win in Winslow.

Anna Petrovic and Abby Wright scored during regulation for Winslow (2-0-0), and Cassie Demers made five saves for the win.

Eva Bickford and Addi Williams scored the goals for MCI (1-1-0), with Elspeth Taylor making 13 saves.

GIRLS SOCCER

ERSKINE 2, MORSE 2, 2 OT: Joanna Linscott and Summer Hotham each scored goals for the Eagles in a Class B match against the Shipbuilders in South China.

Lauren Wood had an assist for Erskine (1-1-1). Taylor Shute had five saves, while Caitlin Labbe had two saves for the Eagles.

Emily Martin and Julia Gould scored goals for Morse (2-0-1). Marissa Parks had 14 saves.

HALL-DALE 0, CARRABEC 0: The Bulldogs and Cobras played to a scoreless MVC draw in North Anson.

Ashley Cates made seven saves for Carrabec (1-0-1), which was outshot by a 15-8 margin for the contest.

For Hall-Dale (1-0-1), Riley Johnson stopped eight shots.

OAK HILL 2, BOOTHBAY 1: Eliza Whisenant and Rylea-Mae Swan scored for the Raiders in the MVC win in Wales.

Anna Dodge made four saves for Oak Hill (3-0-0).

Cierra Combrink scored the lone goal for Boothbay.

WATERVILLE 4, LAWRENCE 0: Anika Elias scored a hat trick to lead the Purple Panthers to the KVAC win in Waterville.

Averie Wechsler also scored for Waterville (3-0-0). Mackenzie St. Pierre and Emme Ayers added assists. Ally Drew made one save.

Riley Hanson made six saves for Lawrence.
