On Sept. 1st, John and Dana (Bean) Jacques of Waterville, celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary with their family at their home.
The couple were married on Sept. 1st, 1962 at the Sacred Heart Church in Waterville. They were married by Father Sullivan and held their reception at the old Elmwood Hotel.
Mr. Jacques worked as a police officer for the City of Waterville for 25 years, followed by another 8 years for the Winslow P.D. Mrs. Jacques taught Special Ed. for 23 years at various area schools.
The couple raised three children together: Lisa Kipp Jacques and her son Avery of Palermo; Jeff, wife Kim and their son Marsden of Lewiston; and Stacie, husband Peter and their children Maya and Eli of Surry.
