AUGUSTA — The Pine Tree Guide Dog Users will host its annual White Cane walk Saturday, Oct. 14.
White Cane Safety Day recognizes the contributions of blind and visually impaired individuals. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. at the Maine State Library on State Street in Augusta. After readings of the Presidential and Mayoral proclamations, participants will leave the library, turn left on State Street and proceed to Western Avenue and continue to Sewall Street, then return to the library via Capitol Street.
