AUGUSTA — Augusta duplicate bridge club winners for Wednesday for north/south were Paul Sherman and Paul Mitnik, Paul Jones and Stan Mathieu, and Janet Arey and Nancy Lindgren. East/west winners were Sharron Hinckley and Fred Letourneau, Diane Bishop and Patricia Damon, and John Erdman and Jane Elliott.

Winners on Thursday were Janet Arey and Peter Dickson, Tony Frates and Nancy Lindgren, and Paul Mitnik and Pete Snell.

Fairfield Bridge Club

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Tuesday were Diane Bishop and David Bourque, who placed first, Bob and Justine Anglund, second, Helen Murphy and Barbara Terhune, third, and Ed and Joyce Rushton, fourth.

HALLOWELL — Spectrum Generations William S. Cohen Community Center, announced its recent bridge.

Game day bridge winners on Wednesday were Gene Murray, who placed first; and Sally Foster and Fran Wadleigh, tied for second.

Bridge winners on Thursday were Kay O’Brien, who placed first; Ed Slack, second; and Don Albert, third.

WATERVILLE — The Waterville nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Thursday were Betty Perry and Louie Violette, who placed first, Peggy Thompson and Anita Mathieu, second; Barbara Terhune and Jeannie Reiling tied for third with Francis Roy and Lee Lenfest; Jackie Gamache and Sylvia Palmer, fourth; and Wilma Pouliot and Mary Alice Rancourt, fifth.
