SKOWHEGAN — Brad Houston had a hat trick to lead the Cony boys soccer team to an 8-0 victory over Skowhegan in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A match Friday.

Alex Cousins and Vlasta Horak each added two goals for the Rams (4-1-2) while Zach Whitney had the other. Nick Robinson made two saves.

Caleb Daigneault made seven saves for the Indians (0-7-0).

BANGOR 3, MESSALONSKEE 0: Dawson Charles had seven saves for the Eagles, who fell to the Rams in Bangor.

Messalonskee falls to 2-4-1.

Garth Berenyi scored two goals for Bangor (7-0-0).

FIELD HOCKEY

 MOUNTAIN VALLEY 2, HALL-DALE 1: Rylee Sevigny scored the deciding goal early in the second half to lift the Falcons to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Farmingdale.

Avery Sevigny had the other goal for Mountain Valley (4-5-0) while Alyssa Akers made five saves.

Carly Corbin scored off an assist from Maddy Merrill for the Bulldogs (2-6-0). Kaylee Magee made 13 saves.

DIRIGO 5, OAK HILL 4, 2 OT: Maegan Sheehy scored two goals and had an assist, but it wasn’t enough for the Raiders, who fell to the Cougars in Wales.

Desirae Dumais had a goal and an assist, while Adelle Surette tallied a goal for Oak Hill (4-5-0). Breanna St. Hilaire and Zoe Buteau each had assists for the Raiders.

Sophia Jacques scored four goals for Dirigo (5-3-0).

GIRLS SOCCER

SKOWHEGAN 6, CONY 0: Alyssa Everett scored two goals and had an assist to lead the Indians to a KVAC A victory over the Rams in Augusta.

Josie Parker, Emma Duffy, Sydney Ames and Abby Bolvin added goals for Skowhegan (1-6-0). Parker added an assist.

Kiara Henry had 11 saves for Cony (0-6-1).
