GARDINER — Madelin Walker scored two goals and Hailee Lovely added another as the Gardiner field hockey team blanked Old Town 3-0 in a Class B North game Tuesday afternoon.

Avery Backus had four saves to record the shutout for Gardiner (10-0).

Corinne Saucer had 14 saves for the Coyotes (7-5).

CONY 6, OXFORD HILLS 0: Cari Hopkins had two goals to spark the Rams to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win in Augusta.

Sophie Whitney added a goal and two assists for Cony (4-6-1) while Kami Lambert, Faith Leathers-Pouliot and Allee Cloutier also had one goal each. Jessica Lee made four saves.

Jenna Moxley and Maddy Day combined to make nine saves for Oxford Hills (2-8-1).

GIRLS SOCCER

MONMOUTH 8, MT. ABRAM 0: Tia Day scored three goals and the Mustangs cruised to the Mountain Valley Conference victory in Monmouth.

Emily Grandahl and Audrey Fletcher each scored two goals to pace Monmouth (9-1-0) while Alicen Burnham had two assists.

Kiley Holt had 17 saves for the Roadrunners (3-8-1).

OAK HILL 3, WINTHROP 1: Makayla Hilchey, Eliza Whisenant and Sydney Drew scored for the Raiders (11-0-0), which held a 46-8 edge in shots.

Sierra Huff scored for the Ramblers (5-6-0) while Samantha Moody had 21 saves.

ERSKINE 3, CONY 0: Kayla Hubbard scored a goal and assisted on two others as the Eagles prevailed in a KVAC game in Augusta.

Sam Heath and Haymanot Maynard also scored for the Eagles (7-1-3).

Kiara Henry had 15 saves for the Rams (0-9-1).

HALL-DALE 3, BOOTHBAY 2: Madisyn Smith had two goals and Naomi Lynch one for the Bulldogs (5-4-2), who took the MVC victory in Boothbay.

Catrina Kincaid had two assists for Hall-Dale which out-shot Boothbay (3-8-0) 26-8.

MARANACOOK 0, LEWISTON 0: Skyeler Webb made 16 saves as the Black Bears settled for a KVAC tie in Lewiston.

Gemma Landry stopped 14 shots for the Blue Devils (1-5-4). Maranacook is now 4-3-3.

MESSALONSKEE 4, LAWRENCE 0: Caitlin Parks scored two goals for the Eagles in a KVAC victory in Fairfield.

Lydia Bradfield and Emily Parent added goals for Messalonskee (7-1-2). Hannah DelGiudice had one save to earn the shutout.

Riley Hanson had 10 saves for Lawrence (2-8-0).

BOYS SOCCER

MESSALONSKEE 7, LAWRENCE 3: Ryan McCarthy nd Jacob Perry each scored two goals and Christian Alley contributed a goal and two assists as the Eagles cruised ot the KVAC A victory in Oakland.

Tucker Charles and Chase Warren each had a goal and an assist for the Eagles (4-5-1).

Christian Adams scored all three goals for the Bulldogs (1-9-1).

EDWARD LITTLE 4, GARDINER 3: Casey Bourque had a hat trick, but it wasn’t enough for the host Tigers.

Noah Keene had an assist, while Alic Shorey had 10 saves for Gardiner (2-7-1).

Mnawer Dubai tallied the game-winning score with two minutes left in regulation for Edward Little (8-1-1). Noah Sterling had three saves.
