BANGOR — Chrissy Denis scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lead the Waterville field hockey team to a 1-0 victory over Bangor in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference game on Thursday.
Hannah Gosline added a goal for the Purple Panthers (2-8-1). Denis also had an assist. Coby Dangler had 15 saves for Waterville.
Meaghan Caron tallied the lone goal for Bangor (6-5-0).
SKOWHEGAN 3, LAWRENCE 1: Maliea Kelso scored two goals to lead the Indians to a KVAC A win over the Bulldogs in Skowhegan.
Olivia Hatch added a goal for Skowhegan (11-1-0). Julia Steeves had two assists, while Haley Carter added an assist for the Indians.
Marie Larouche scored a goal for Lawrence (4-8-0). Nora Buck had an assist.
BOYS SOCCER
MT. BLUE 4, OXFORD HILLS 0: Sam Smith scored two goals to lead the Cougars to a KVAC A victory over the Vikings in South Paris.
Eli Yeaton and Adam Loewen tallied scores for Mt. Blue (5-4-1). Aidan Salisbury had two assists, while Lowen and Sam McFarland added assists for the Cougars. Tucker Carleton had two saves for the shutout.
Sam Morton had eight saves for Oxford Hills (1-8-1).
TEMPLE 7, VALLEY 1: Noah Shepherd notched a hat trick, while Nikola Kekic and Sawyer Deroche each added two goals as the Bereans beat the Cavaliers in a Class D game Bingham.
Temple improves to an 11-0-0 record.
Joey Thomas scored a goal for Valley (1-8-0).
WINSLOW 2, GARDINER 1: Caleb Burbank and Bryce Hillier scored second-half goals for the Black Raiders, who erased a halftime deficit for the KVAC B win in Gardiner.
Jake Lapierre made three saves for Winslow (9-2-0).
Jackson Tweedy scored for Gardiner (2-8-1) in the first half.

MOUNT VIEW 2, ELLSWORTH 0: Gabby Ravin and Abbi Downer each scored to lead the Mustangs to the win in Thorndike.
Shala Davis made two saves to earn the shutout for Mount View (8-3-0).
Kyle Robidoux made 16 saves for Ellsworth (2-8-1).
PINE TREE ACADEMY 2, VALLEY 1: Agnes Mionga scored a pair of goals to lift Pine Tree to the Class D win in Bingham.
Kendra Sweet scored a second half goal for Valley (0-9-0).
Pine Tree improves to 5-5-0.
WINSLOW 3, GARDINER 1: Carly Warn scored twice to spark the Black Raiders to the KVAC B win in Winslow.
Sara Doughty added a goal on a penalty kick for Winslow (8-1-1). Broghan Gagnon made one save.
Alexis Nestor scored for Gardiner (0-10-1) and Brianna Perry made seven saves.
