Fire destroyed a mobile home Saturday afternnon on Lucy Knowles Road in Farmington, leaving a family homeless, according to Fire Chief Terry Bell.
Firefighters from several departments went to the fire, which was reported at 3:18 pm, according to Bell. No one was at home when the fire broke out, he said.
Bell said the fire was not considered suspicious. The cause was undetermined as of Saturday night.
Firefighters from Farmington, Wilton, Temple, New Sharon, Jay and Chesterville were at the scene, according to Bell.
The last name of the couple who lived at the home is Snow, he said.
No further information was available late Saturday.
