Andrea Crosby scored a game-high 25 points for Mount View (0-1).

WATERVILLE 42, OCEANSIDE 39: Sadie Garling scored 11 points and Maddie Martin had six points and nine rebounds to lead the Purple Panthers (1-0) in Rockland.

Paige St. Pierre scored nine points while Hannah LeClair grabed eight rebounds for the victors.

Gabby Simmons led all scorers with 12 points for the Mariners (0-1).

SKOWHEGAN 54, MT. BLUE 24: Annie Cooke had 11 points and nine rebounds as the Indians raced out to a 27-8 halftime lead en route to the A North win in Skowhegan.

Sydney Reed added six points and eight rebounds for Skowhegan (1-0). Sydney Ames finished with a game-high 12 points.

Lexi Mittelstadt led Mt. Blue (0-1) with seven points.

VALLEY 28, BUCKFIELD 16: Jillian Miller and Kennedy Savoy each scored eight points to lead the Cavaliers to the East/West Conference victory in Bingham.

Kendra Sweet added seven points for Valley (1-0).

MCI 65, BELFAST 29: April McAlpine scored 18 points and Sarah Linkletter added 12 as the Huskies rolled in Belfast.

LAWRENCE 63, CONY 34: The Bulldogs jumped out to a 20-4 first-quarter lead and never looked back on their way to the KVAC A win in Augusta.

MARANACOOK 55, ERSKINE 51, OT: The freshman duo of Kate Mohlar and Anna Drillin each went 3-for-4 from the line in overtime to lead the Black Bears to the KVAC win in Reafield.

Drillin finished with 13 points while Mohlar had 12 for Maranacook (1-0). Grace Despres led all scorers with 16 points.

WINSLOW 77, MOUNT VIEW 30: Jack Morneault scored a game-high 27 points to spark the host Black Raiders to the KVAC B win.

Mike Wildes added 13 points for Winslow (1-0).

Mount View (0-1) was led by Adam Reed with eight points and Kyle Noble with six.

CARRABEC 66, WISCASSET 44: Evan Holzworth and Alex Stafford combined for 48 points to lead the Cobras to the Mountain Valley Conference win in North Anson.

Carrabec (1-0) used a 20-8 run in the second quarter to jump out to the lead. Holzworth finished with 25 points while Stafford scored 23 for Carrabec.

Wiscasset (0-1) was led by Colby Carrier with 11 points.

VALLEY 64, BUCKFIELD 52: Josh Brown scored 18 points and Dillon Brown added 13 as the Cavaliers cruised in Bingham. Joey Thomas scored 12 points for Valey (1-0), which led by just two after the first quarter.

Ethan Jackson scored 18 points to lead Buckfield (0-1).

LAWRENCE 58, CONY 50: Nick Robertson scored 21 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC A win in Fairfield.

HAMPDEN 63, MESSALONSKEE 30: Tommy Raye and Kory Winch each had three of the Broncos’ 11 total 3-pointers in the season-opening KVAC A win in Hampden.

Ian McIntyre led Hampden with 14 points, while Raye and Winch added nine and 13, respectively.

Messalonskee, held to just five points in both the first and third quarters, was led by Chase Warren’s 11 points.

FOREST HILLS 87, VINALHAVEN 38: Parker Desjardins buried seven 3-pointers to lead the Tigers to a season-opening victory over the Vikings at Kennebec Valley Community College in Fairfield.

Hunter Cuddy added 17 points for Forest Hills, while Brandon Gilboe scored 15 and Jakob Revas added 10.

Keon Arey led Vinalhaven with 11 points, while Elijah Ames added 10.
