FARMINGTON — A special presentation of “Christmas on the Air” will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, and 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 22 and 23, at New Hope Baptist Church, 268 Perham St.

This musical drama tells the story of a live radio broadcast from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

See Christmas through the eyes of a child, as actors portray the nativity scene in an unusual way while experiencing a modern-day lesson in giving and receiving. Listen to the 23-voice teen and adult choir sing the original arranged Christmas songs as well as fresh arrangements of traditional carols. Two children’s solos and two choruses from the 13-voice junior choir will be included.

Kirk Doyle is the choir director for the teen and adult choir. Janna Winslow is the junior choir director. Play co-directors are Sandi Rebert and Doyle.
